Many wonderful things come with getting older like grace, maturity, and wisdom. Wrinkles and sagging is not one of them.
In order to prevent and combat the signs of aging, you can take a few simple steps that I have curated especially for you! I have tried everything, and I mean everything!
The hero in this story is retinol. I have been using tretinoin/retinol since the age of 24 and have seen amazing results in the tone, texture, and firmness of my skin.
Retinol stimulates the production of new skin cells, and also helps to fade dark spots resulting from photo-aging, hyperpigmentation, hormonal changes, and blemish scars. It renews the skin treats acne, reduces appearance of fine lines, and helps with skin discoloration.
What is retinol?
Retinol is a weaker, over the counter version of tretinoin, a prescription vitamin A derivative that is highly effective in reversing sun damage and signs of aging. Tretinoin decreases fine lines, evens skin color, improves texture, tightens pores, and stimulates blood flow and collagen production.
Below are my reccomendations for age 35-50. If your skin is very dry, go for the cream and serum. I use the pads 2-3 times per week and the serum at night, and the cream on top of the serum if I am feeling particularly dry.
